Am back....

It’s been a while since I last jotted down my rumbling and memoirs on this my page. Since last I wrote many things have changed most important of all I have managed to get that part of my CV that says “single” changed to “Married”, that’s a significant thing noting that many people have married and turned out to be philosophers after the old Socrates adage. Anyway next in significance is that my Employer has recently changed names and now goes under the brand Zain. With the name change a couple of stuff have followed the same mostly for the better; namely better perks , better medical cover , better working conditions (we can wear whatever we like to work-kinda like Google) . Some things have also changed for the better on the business perspective, SafariCON has been reacting and not acting this is a good thing noting that in the past Celtel was totally aloof to the working of the telcom business- at least as it applies to Kenya. Since last we talked our country underwent quite a huge death and rebirth. Tribal clashes and other crude things were unleashed in ample quantity but thanks be to God we have recovered and are now healing as a nation. I know I will shock you dear readers to tell you that I was at Ground Zero a.k.a. KICC over the period of the fateful elections-what was I doing there? I was implementing a results display system for ECK that laced GIS technology, C#, VB.NET, MsSQL server laced with a dose of CLI Assemblies to make it behave like a Spatial data source. Look at this to know more.

On the software development front….really nothing has changed much. Still looking forward to getting a PC that I will employ to the installation of the latest versions of Visual studio. I have also since last we talked I have completed yet another issue management system laced with serious notification workflow. Am kinda pleased with myself currently am documenting the Admin side and hope to be done by the week’s end documenting the Architecture.

Otherwise its nice having written yet again, I hope to jot down some things soon.
